ATLANTA - Georgians should stay on the lookout for wet and possibly stormy weather for the next few days.

The National Weather Service says there's a 50 percent chance of rain and isolated thunderstorms Sunday across northern, central and coastal Georgia. Rain chances are 70 percent in western portions of the state from Columbus to Albany. No severe weather was predicted.

Forecasters say rainfall in most locations should be one-tenth to one-quarter of an inch. In Macon, up to half-an-inch of rain is possible Sunday night.

Georgia residents might want to pack umbrellas for the beginning of the work week. The weather service says rain and isolated thunderstorms will remain in the forecast through Tuesday.
