SUWANEE – North Forsyth was held to its lowest output of the season in a 21-7 loss to Lambert Friday night in Region 6-AAAAAA action.
The Longhorns (5-0, 2-0 in region) held the Raiders (3-2, 0-2) to just 170 total yards. North Forsyth came into the game averaging just over 23 points game but found the going tough against the Longhorns.
Lambert broke a scoreless tie in the second on a 37-yard touchdown run by Brock Maxwell, who would add a second touchdown in the third quarter to push the lead to 14-0.
The Raiders would cut the deficit in half on an 11-yard run from Harris Roberts early in the fourth quarter. But Lambert’s Jake Vazquez would put the game away midway through the final period on a 2-yard touchdown run and a 21-7 lead.
Jamal Davenport led North Forsyth with 35 yards rushing. D’Anonio Adame led the Raiders in receiving with 30 yards on just two receptions.
