Lula couple arrested for growing marijuana plantsBy Katie Crumley Access Insider LULA - Hall County authorities arrested a Lula couple Thursday afternoon after marijuana plants were discovered growing on their property.
Lt. Scott Ware with the Hall County Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad said a Georgia State Patrol helicopter actually spotted the plants in the 5400 block of Old Cornelia Highway around 3 p.m. and alerted authorities. "They then located and subsequently seized five marijuana plants, as well as a small amount of processed marijuana," he said. Ware said the approximate street value of the drugs is $10,000. He said the occupants of the home, 39-year-old Daniel George Norton and 34-year-old Lydia Ann Norton, were arrested and booked into the Hall County Jail. © Copyright 2013 AccessNorthGa.com
