Oakwood Wal-Mart armored car robbery suspects sentencedBy Katie Crumley Access Insider GAINESVILLE - The three men charged with robbing an armored car outside the Oakwood Wal-Mart on Jan. 11 were sentenced Wednesday morning.
According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, Judge William C. O'Kelley sentenced 20-year-old Terry Rivers, 21-year-old Antonio Gore and 26-year-old Montez Walker to prison time, ranging from six to 10 years. Additionally, the defendants must pay more than $23,000 in restitution to cover the armored car courier's medical expenses to treat injuries suffered during the robbery and her lost wages. The three pleaded guilty to the crime in May. Authorities said they fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash and led authorities on a high speed chase through Hall and Gwinnett County before being captured when their getaway vehicle crashed in Suwanee. © Copyright 2013 AccessNorthGa.com
