SUWANEE -- After managing just 25 yards in the first half, Mill Creek caught fire in the second half on Friday night at Peachtree Ridge, pulling away for a 20-10 win in Suwanee.
The Hawks (3-1, 2-0 Region 7-AAAAAA) were led by quarterback Daniel David in the second half charge, as the signal caller went 12-for-19 with 188 yards and two touchdowns.
Jacorey Lewis also rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries for Mill Creek. Michael Cheeks and Jin Han caught the touchdowns from David, while Matthew Pursell hauled in four passes for 65 yards.
Mill Creek finished with 316 yards after trailing 10-0 at the half.
The Hawks will play host to Norcross next Friday.
