Daniel leads Jackson County to win over rivals

JEFFERSON – Kyle Daniel threw for three touchdowns and Xavier Harper caught three TD passes to help lead Jackson County to a 47-7 thumping of East Jackson Friday night.

Daniel hit 12-of-16 passes for 172 yards and Harper finished with five catches for 104 yards for Jackson County. The Panthers exploded in the first half scoring 20 points in each the first and second quarters while running out to a 40-7 halftime lead. Dustin Scott paced the Panthers on the ground with 85 yards and two touchdowns.

Keyshawn Curry had a 95-yard kick-off return for a touchdown.

Jace Latty and Dylan Stowe each had an interception for the Panthers.
