OAKWOOD – Jefferson won a pair of tough matches and split two matches Thursday in girls volleyball action at the Johnson gym.
The Lady Dragons (21-7) rallied from a set down to beat Johnson 21-25, 25-21, 25-14 and then held off Flowery Branch 25-17, 23-25, 25-21 to complete the sweep.
Grace Williamson had a solid night with 33 assists, five kills, and four digs for Jefferson. Sarah Wood also had a strong night recording 23 kills, seven digs, six aces and four blocks while Paige Watson had 23 assists and four digs for the Lady Dragons.
Meanwhile, Johnson (17-6) earned a split knocking off Flowery Branch 25-16, 25-13 behind LeJavian Ratliff, who had 18 digs and nine kills.
Kelly Chance had nine assists and five digs, Savannah Turk added seven kills and five digs, and Karis Sloan and Lindsey Anderson each had six digs for the Lady Knights.
