Chattahoochee Mountain Fair drawing to a close

CLARKESVILLE – Recording artist John Berry drew a large crowd to the 37th-annual Chattahoochee Mountain Fair in Clarkesville Friday night.

Berry performed his hit songs “She’s Taken a Shine,” “Kiss Me in the Car,” “You and Only You,” “Standing on the Edge of Goodbye,” “Your Love Amazes Me,” and “What’s In it for Me?” In addition, he share his faith before performing his new song “Real Man. Real Life. Real God.”

Berry drew a standing ovation for his song “Give Me Back My America.”

Saturday’s schedule for the fair includes:

• Lovey’s Funtastic Kids Show at 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

• Life on the Farm at noon, 3 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.

• Spoon Man at 1, 4, 6 and 8 p.m.

• Premier Dance & Performing Arts Academy at noon

• Goody’s Fashion Show at 2 p.m.

• North Georgia Flames at 4 p.m.

At 7 p.m., Joni Mabe the Elvis Babe presents David Lee, World Champion Elvis Tribute Artist with Voice of Conway and Stylings of Reba.

The Chattahoochee Mountain Fair is held at the Habersham County Fairgrounds on Toccoa Highway (Georgia Highway 17), Clarkesville.

Admission is $5 for ages 11 and older, $3 for ages 6-10, and free for ages 5 and younger. Free parking and free shuttles are available.
