HOSCHTON -- Last season Mountain View caught Mill Creek with a 9-7 victory -- there was no such surprise on Friday night.
The Hawks manhandled the Bears 49-0, taking a 35-0 lead in the first half and outgaining their Region 7-AAAAAA foes 530-53.
Devozea Felton led the Mill Creek onslaught, rushing five times for 143 yards and three touchdowns while also catching three passes for 64 yards and a score.
Jacorey Lewis also rushed 16 times for 88 yards and a touchdown, while Gabe Franklin carried 18 times for 80 yards. Jordain Sylvain and Andrew Sciara also scored rushing TDs for the Hawks (2-1, 1-0 Region 7-AAAAAA).
Mill Creek quarterback Daniel David finish 8 of 11 for 124 yards through the air, including three completions to Matthew Pursell for 40 yards.
The Hawks will travel to face Peachtree Ridge next Friday.
