Softball: Buford shuts out East Hall

RABBITTOWN – No. 1 Buford scored three runs in the first inning and then goit back-to-back home runs from Remington Hasty and Jordan Deep in the third inning en route to an 8-0 win in five innings over East Hall Thursday in Region 7-AAA action.
The Lady Wolves (14-1, 5-0 in region) pounded out 14 hits in the win. Bria Bush improved to 9-1 pitching the first three innings allowing just three hits and fanning four. Peyton Wolfe pitched the final two innings allowing one hit and one run.
Hasty finished with three hits and scored three runs and deep had two hits and two RBI to lead the Buford offense. Niki Cook and Bekah Rude each had two hits and two RBI for the Lady Wolves.
