Volleyball: Lady Falcons split

The Flowery Branch girls volleyball team split a pair of matches Tuesday in girls volleyball action.

The Lady Falcons got a Region 8-AAAAA win over Heritage 25-18, 25-21 but lost to non-region opponent Oconee 25-8, 25-12.

Autumn Luken paced Flowery Branch with 15 kills while Jessie Justice had five digs and Colleen Grider had six aces and three kills for Flowery Branch. Gabrielle Burke added 10 assists for the Lady Faclons.
