Arts Council planning Arts in the Schools festivalBy Staff GAINESVILLE - The Arts Council, Inc. and McDonald’s have partnered to host an Arts in the Schools Benefit Festival on Saturday from 10:00-6:00.
It will be held at The Smithgall Arts Center in downtown Gainesville. The aim of this festival is to raise funds for local schools’ Arts in Schools programs for the current academic year. It will feature interactive arts and crafts, a live performance showcase (all day), games and foods, celebrity dunk tank, inflatables, free child ID kits sponsored by Gainesville Masonic Lodge, scarecrow competition and more.
