Smoke smell prompts fire call to Hall County business

GAINESVILLE - Hall County Fire officials were looking for the cause of a smoke odor that prompted a call to a bank in north Hall County Friday morning.

According to fire chief David Kimbrell, the call came around 9:00 a.m. to the Sun Trust branch on Thompson Bridge Road near Mount Vernon Road.

Kimbrell said several employees were coughing , but none required medical attention.
