Elbert County burglary suspect sought after two others arrestedBy Rob Moore Editor ELBERTON – Two men are in custody and a third is being sought in connection with a commercial burglary on Old Hartwell Road, Elberton.
Granite Resources Corp. officials reported a burglary on Sept. 4. Wesley Eric Fleming, 17, and Austin Thomas Cleveland, 20, both of Elberton, were charged with second-degree burglary in the case, detention center records show. Sheriff Barry Haston said Thursday deputies are looking for Chance Wade Franklin, 37, on an outstanding burglary warrant. Franklin is believed to be staying in or near the city of Elberton. Franklin is described as 5-foot-11, 155 pounds.
