Volleyball: Johnson storms past Duluth, East Hall

DULUTH -- The Johnson volleyball team stormed past Duluth and East Hall on Thursday in Duluth.

The Lady Knights (9-4) swept Duluth (25-17, 25-14), getting seven aces and two kills from Christina Petit. Lejavian Ratliff also added five aces and five digs, while Kelly Chance had five assists, and Savannah Turk managed six digs, two kills and two aces.

Johnson then took out East Hall (25-18, 14-25, 25-23), led by two aces and 13 assists from Chance. Turk also had six kills and six digs, while Karis Sloan added seven kills and a block, and Ratliff had four kills and 10 digs.

Johnson plays again Sept. 6 at North Hall, against North Hall and West Forsyth.
