CLARKESVILLE – Five people were hurt when the Ford F-250 pickup they were occupying went out of control and overturned shortly before 8 a.m. Thursday.
The wreck happened on Georgia Highway 17 just south of Chuck’s Barbecue and just north of Georgia Highway 115. The truck and a small trailer it was towing left the roadway near Faith Tabernacle Full Gospel Church, then overturned, coming to rest in a ditch off the road. Five people – two adults and three children – were taken by ambulance to Habersham Medical Center for treatment of injuries. The wreck remains under investigation by the Georgia State Patrol and the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office. Additional details are not immediately available. © Copyright 2013 AccessNorthGa.com
