Two adults, three children hurt when truck overturns near Clarkesville

CLARKESVILLE – Five people were hurt when the Ford F-250 pickup they were occupying went out of control and overturned shortly before 8 a.m. Thursday.
The wreck happened on Georgia Highway 17 just south of Chuck’s Barbecue and just north of Georgia Highway 115. The truck and a small trailer it was towing left the roadway near Faith Tabernacle Full Gospel Church, then overturned, coming to rest in a ditch off the road.
Five people – two adults and three children – were taken by ambulance to Habersham Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
The wreck remains under investigation by the Georgia State Patrol and the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office.
