GAINESVILLE - The victims of a Hall County man's violent drug spree--that began at his sister's house in Cumming--are now speaking out about what they endured.
Investigators said 31-year-old Edward Kim stole his sister's SUV and two handguns in Cumming last Friday, then drove to Alpharetta, where they say he robbed a costume jewelry store on Windward Parkway.
"While he was taking the money, he said 'I'm not going to hurt you if you give me the money,'" said Bejewel store employee Jeong Su Park.
Authorities said Kim also carjacked a 16-year-old girl last weekend as she arrived at North Point Mall to pick up her father from work.
“She got out of her car and heard a voice behind her saying ‘You dropped something,’ and she turned around and there was a gun in her face,” the girl’s father told Channel 2 News.
Authorities said Kim is responsible for similar crimes in Forsyth County, Alpharetta and Sandy Springs.
They said his charges include kidnapping, hijacking a vehicle and aggravated assault
