Patti Walters Laine watches the final election results come in Tuesday night at Dairy Queen on Riverside Drive in Gainesville.
GAINESVILLE - Patti Walters Laine has won the race for Hall County probate judge.
"I'm excited to get in there and see what changes need to be made and what needs to stay the same and just get going on it," Laine said. "I'm all about serving the county, and I'm excited about it."
Laine said she's pleased with the way she ran her campaign. She received approximately 58 percent of the vote in Tuesday's runoff election.
Laine's opponent, Brook Davidson, came in with roughly 42 percent of the vote.
