Teen arrested after latest complaint about Buford house
BUFORD - Some Buford residents say they're fed up with a house in their neighborhood that they say is a constant host to wild and loud parties for teenagers.
Channel 2 Action News obtained a 9-1-1 call from a resident that was calling to complain about such a party at the home in the Lakeview at Hamilton Mill subdivision this weekend.
"This is absolutely ridiculous, and I will not put up with this anymore," said the caller.
Gwinnett County Police Cpl. Jake Smith said they've received 23 similar calls about the house just this year.
Smith when an officer responded to the latest complaint around 3 a.m. Saturday, he found dozens of people and evidence of drugs.
"When he went inside, he found evidence of drug use... things like bongs and marijuana," he said.
Smith said 17-year-old Jayson Gonsalves was arrested following the most recent party and was charged with maintaining a disorderly home.
"It's an ongoing problem we have with this young man, and hopefully this charge will resolve some of the problems we've seen from this house," he said.
