Volleyball: JHS wins Silver bracket at Spikefest

RABBITTOWN – The Johnson girls volleyball team won the Silver bracket of the East Hall Spikefest Tournament Saturday.

The Lady Knights opened with a 2-0 win over Flowery Branch 25-15, 26-22 but then fell to Habersham Central 25-18, 25-10. But Johnson rebounded with a straight sets win over Lumpkin County 25-15, 25-16 and then held off host East Hall in three sets, 25-18, 20-25, 15-8.

Lindsey Anderson paced Johnson with 11kills and three blocks while Kelly Chance added five aces, five kills, and 26 assists. Christina Petit had nine aces and eight kills, Lejavian Ratliff had 14 kills and 14 digs, Savannah Turk had eight kills and 20 digs, and Heather Luc pounded out eight aces for the Lady Knights.
