Former longtime Dawson chamber head dies

DAWSONVILLE - The retired longtime President of the Dawson County Chamber of Commerce has died, just one month after retiring.

Linda Williams, 64, of Dawsonville died Wednesday at her home following an extended illness.

Williams served as President of the Dawson County Chamber of Commerce for 16 years until her retirement.

A memorial service will be held Thursday August 16 at 11:00 at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel in Dawsonville.
