Hornsby finishes historic Olympic run in 15thBy Staff LONDON - Tim Hornsby, the first member of the Lanier Canoe Kayak Club to take part in the Olympics, finished 15th overall in the men's K1 200 final on Saturday at the games of the 30th Olympiad in London.
Competing in the B final, Hornsby finished in 39.37 seconds. An Atlanta native, the 26 year old Hornsby joined LCKC as a youth and spent his formative years on the waters of Lanier training under then-LCKC coach Tony Hall. Link: Results © Copyright 2013 AccessNorthGa.com
