UNDATED - A 63 year old Sautee man was killed Sunday night in a 4-wheeler accident in the northern end of White County.
White County Sheriff’s Captain Tim Chapman said David Cox was operating the 4-wheeler in woods near his home when the accident occurred.
Cox's four-year-old grandson was riding with him, but the boy was not hurt, according to Chapman.
White County Fire Chief Dickie Howard said the call came in just before 6:00 p.m. to Lynch Mountain Road. Howard said the accident occurred about a mile off the roadway. He said the 4-wheeler had rolled over on the victim.
The White County Sheriff's and coroner's offices investigated the accident.
