Four people hurt Friday night in Cornelia wreck

CORNELIA – Four people were taken by ambulance to Habersham Medical Center following a wreck in front of RaceTrac in Cornelia Friday night.

The two-vehicle wreck occurred around 8 p.m. on Veterans Memorial Drive between Cannon Bridge Road and the Kmart shopping center. A Chevrolet and a Cadillac were involved.

At least one person was trapped and had to be freed from the vehicle by fire department personnel.
