Routine maintenance work planned for North Ga. roadways

UNDATED - The Georgia Department of Transportation has a number of maintenance projects planned for North Georgia next week.

According to DOT spokesperson Teri Pope, the work will include mowing, guardrail repairs and some patching work.

Pope said most activities will only require shoulder or median lane closures. She says the work will occur between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Barrow, Dawson, Forsyth, Gwinnett and Hall are just a few of the counties in our area that will see the work.
