New signal in flashing mode in Forsyth CountyBy Derreck Booth Editor CUMMING - Georgia Department of Transportation officials said a new traffic signal is up in flash mode in Forsyth County.
According to DOT spokeswoman Teri Pope, the signal is at the intersection of State Route 141/Peachtree Parkway and Stoney Point Road. Officials said it's expected to go into regular operation next Tuesday. “Once the signal is operational, please use extra caution until you get familiar with the new signal location. Remember to watch out for other drivers until they get used to the new signal too," DOT District Engineer Bayne Smith said. © Copyright 2013 AccessNorthGa.com
