Maysville woman killed in Gainesville wreck

GAINESVILLE - A Maysville woman lost her life in a traffic accident in Gainesville Tuesday afternoon.

The Hall County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 32-year-old Priscilla Whitlock, the driver of a car involved in the collision.

The apparent head-on crash happened on White Sulphur Road and closed the roadway for a time between Ramsey Road and Navajo Circle.

Police Cpl. Kevin Holbrook said the crash involved a car and an SUV. Another victim was transported by ground ambulance to Northeast Georgia Medical Center, according to Holbrook.

The identity and condition of the transported victim was not immediately available.
