GAINESVILLE - Hall County authorities ran into some commercial fireworks materials when they were executing an eviction in north Hall County Tuesday.

Sheriff's Sgt. Stephen Wilbanks said it was in a house in the Walnut Grove Subdivision off Price Road.

Wilbanks said some of the materials appeared to be altered.

"As a precaution we requested the local GBI (Georgia Bureau of Investigation) bomb technicians come in, take a look at those materials, just to make sure that they were safe to remove," Wilbanks said.

He said there have been no evacuations.

"The area is safe. We are requesting that nobody go in close to the operators there on the scene," Wilbanks added.

There have been no arrests, according to Wilbanks.
