The Gainesville Wildcats AAU basketball team recently won its second tournament championship in a week at the NCAA Certified Big Shots event in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

The Wildcats sealed the championship with a double overtime victory on Sunday.

After winning the Gold Division Championship on Friday, The Wildcats played in the Silver Division Championship game late Sunday afternoon.

Once again several Division I and Division II coaches were in attendance to watch the Wildcats play, as the team played eight games in four, going 71 in that span.

The Wildcats defeated teams from North Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia and Virginia, with the only loss coming in overtime on Saturday.
