Teen struck by vehicle in Gainesville

GAINESVILLE – Authorities have confirmed a teenager was struck by a vehicle on Lakeview Drive around 3:30 Monday afternoon.

Hall County Fire Chief David Kimbrell says the teen was skateboarding when he darted in front of a moving vehicle.

The teen was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center with serious injuries. The Gainesville Police Department is currently investigating the accident.
