CLEVELAND - The 26-year-old Cleveland woman involved in a serious accident Sunday afternoon in White County has died from her injuries.
Authorities confirmed Monday that Denise Ann Howington Ginter was the victim in the crash that occurred near Fred's Discount Store on Wilford Ash Parkway during a torrential rain.
Georgia State Patrol reports state Ginter's white 1999 Chevrolet Malibu hydroplaned and was struck T-bone style in the side by a white 2006 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck driven by 32-year-old Andrew Christian Snowby of Cumming.
Ginter suffered serious injuries and was taken by ground ambulance to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, where she later died.
Snowby and his passenger, 35-year-old Holly Hallan of Cumming. were evaluated at the scene.
The Georgia State Patrol investigated the wreck, with assistance from Cleveland Police Department, and White County Sheriff's Office.
