Gainesville Wildcats win Big Shots tourney in S.C.

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- The Gainesville Wildcats AAU basketball team won the NCAA Certified Big Shots tournament on Friday at Myrtle Beach, S.C.

The Wildcats played the Championship game in front of a very large group of college coaches., including several division I and division II coaches.

The Wildcats will play in their second NCAA Certified tournament beginning on Saturday morning.
The team will then return home for a week before traveling to another NCAA Certified event in Richmond, Va.
