Suspect at large in Statham home invasion

STATHAM - No one was injured during a home invasion Monday morning in Barrow County.

Statham Police Officer Michael Pruitt said a white male wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, ski mask and jeans and armed with a handgun entered the residence on Noah Lane around 11:25 a.m.

"Witnesses say he possibly fled the scene in a dark in color pickup truck," he said.

Pruitt said police believe this is not a random act and the safety of citizens is not at risk.
