Northside hospital opens new surgery center in Cumming

CUMMING - Hospital growth in northeast Georgia continues, the latest such expansion is a new outpatient surgery center in Cumming.

According to Northside Hospital officials, the new Northside-Forsyth Outpatient Surgery center features four operating rooms and a suite for GI endoscopy procedures. It's located at 1055 Haw Creek Parkway.

The first patient at the 14,175 square foot center was treated last month.

Care offered also includes general surgery, orthopaedics, plastic surgery, ophthalmology, ENT and podiatry.

"This new Surgery Center allows us to take the surgical services we provide at the hospital and make them even more convenient for both our patients and surgeons," said Northside Hospital-Forsyth Administrator Lynn Jackson.
