GAINESVILLE -- For the fourth straight year, Gainesville will host the Georgia Games Benchpress and Powerlifting Championships.

The competition will take place on Saturday at Iron Beast Barbell gym, which has been the site of this portion of the Georgia Games for the past two years -- Riverside Military hosted the event in 2009.

Competition starts at 9 a.m. Saturday, with session set to begin at 2 p.m.

Local lifters and IronDawgs powerlifting team members Garry Glenn and Tim "T" Moon, are both set to test themselves in the event, which is being run by USA Powerlifting (USAPL).
