Aquatics center back to business Thursday

GAINESVILLE - The Frances Meadows Aquatics Center was back to business as usual Thursday in Gainesville.

The center was forced to close Wednesday afternoon because of a transformer fire in the area. Gainesville Fire Chief Jon Canada said the fire was quickly extinguished and no injuries were reported.

Power crews got the transformer repairs finished Wednesday evening, according to the city.
