Flowery Branch Police make arrests, recover firearmsBy Derreck Booth Editor FLOWERY BRANCH - Flowery Branch Police have made two arrests and recovered five firearms following a break-in early Tuesday morning.
According to Flowery Branch Police Lt. David Spillers, the call came in around 4:28 a.m. to a duplex in the 4700 block of Chariot Drive. One resident of the duplex was at work, and the other escaped the rear of the house during the break-in. No one was injured. 23 year old Samantha Somera of Oakwood and 26 year old Michael Wayne Morgan, Junior of Buford are each charged with burglary and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. They allegedly made off with primarily electronic equipment, according to Spillers. He said police recovered four firearms at the scene of the crime and another a short distance away. Authorities believe the guns belong to the suspects. Both Somera and Morgan were found a street away from the crime in a car, according to Spillers. Flowery Branch Police are looking for another man. 21 year old Reggie Edward Page of Buford, formerly of Soperton, is described as a person of interest. © Copyright 2013 AccessNorthGa.com
