Jim Pruitt, M.D., who recently joined The Longstreet Clinic, has been serving as Chestatee Emergency Department Medical Director and will continue to serve in that capacity. Dr. Pruitt is board certified in both emergency medicine and family medicine, and has practiced as an emergency department physician for more than 25 years. He will work with other experienced community physicians to provide high quality, compassionate care to patients in urgent or emergency situations.
Jason Cox, CEO of Chestatee Regional said, “We are excited about the growing opportunities and partnerships here at Chestatee Regional Hospital. The Longstreet Clinic will provide a renewed focus on our training, and our Emergency Department will have opportunities to improve its services through this partnership. We are looking forward to the advancements that Longstreet will provide and how this partnership will better our overall quality of service, as we serve our community.”
