Northside Forsyth looking to add onBy Derreck Booth Editor CUMMING - Officials with Northside Hospital-Forsyth are seeking approval for a new 75,000 square foot medical office building.
The hospital filed a letter of determination with the Georgia Department of Community health for the new three-story building on its campus in Cumming. It's planned on the south side of the existing Women's Center, according to the hospital. It'll connect to that center by a glass corridor and would compliment the look and design of the center. The new building would house several physician specialties and practices and support the center. "We continue to have a great deal of interest in our campus among physicians who want to locate here and be associated with our hospital," Skip Putnam, CEO of Northside Hospital-Forsyth, said. Pending state approval, hospital officials hope to break ground on the new building next fall, with completion in about eight months time. © Copyright 2013 AccessNorthGa.com
