GAINESVILLE - “Being a Pan Am Stewardess in the Days of Glamour Travel” will be the topic of Thursday's WomenSource Brown Bag Lunch.

Mary Forrest, Joy Losee, and Annita Thomas will present the program. All three panelists were former stewardesses with Pan Am and will share the requirements to become a stewardess, what was involved in their
training and their in-flight responsibilities, as well as memorable experiences and special places they traveled during that time of their lives.

A display will also be set up with memorabilia from Pan Am.

The outreach agency for June for WomenSource is the Girl Scouts of Historic Northeast Georgia, and also at the meeting, Cheryl Legette will briefly present information on the organization and how it serves women and children in the Gainesville area.

The meeting begins at 12:00 Thursday at the Frances Meadows Aquatic & Community Center and will be sponsored and catered by Brenau Catering.
