Victim flown from van crash

UNDATED - The Georgia State Patrol is investigating a traffic accident that left a victim trapped in a van in south Hall County Thursday afternoon.

A van left the roadway and hit a tree at Old Winder Highway and Still Water Lane, according to Hall County Sheriff's Sgt Stephen Wilbanks.

The driver was flown to Grady Hospital in Atlanta after being freed from the vehicle.

The crash was reported about 1:24 p.m.
