Banks Co. man promoted to Highway Maintenance Foreman
GAINESVILLE – Georgia Department of Transportation District Maintenance Engineer, Bill Cantrell announces that Adran Beasley is now DOT’s Highway Maintenance Foreman for the Northeast Georgia District Asphalt Laydown Crew.
Beasley has worked with DOT since 1999. He has served in the Maintenance Division throughout his entire career. Beasley worked his way up serving as an Equipment Operator One, Two and Three. Then he served as Maintenance Equipment Operator. As Highway Maintenance Foreman of the District –wide Asphalt Laydown Crew, he continually works to improve the smoothness of our roadways on all state routes and interstates in Northeast Georgia.
“Adran is the kind of hard working, conscientious employee that we need to ensure the safety of our roadways," Cantrell said. "Adran is also following in his Father’s footsteps. The late Paul Beasley was a friend to all of us and was Foreman of the Crew Adran now leads. I am proud to watch Adran honor his Father’s memory with his work ethic and allegiance to providing Georgia’s motorists with safe roads. Adran is an asset to the Department and to the people of Georgia.”
Beasley and his wife Kulisha are the parents of five children: Kenya, age 19, Kulia, age 13, Kadajha, age 12, Kalyn, age 9 and one-year-old Aiden. The family lives in Commerce.
