Worker killed in industrial accident at KOS Wire identified

FLOWERY BRANCH - A worker who was killed on the job Friday at KOS Wire on Cantrell Road in Flowery Branch has been identified.

Hall County Fire Chief David Kimbrell said emergency medical personnel were called to the scene around 8:45 p.m.

"When our units arrived, they did find an industrial accident inside the plant where a male had been killed," said Kimbrell.

Hall County Sheriff's Department spokesman Sgt. Stephen Wilbanks said 30-year-old Adam Wingo was pulled into a piece of machinery and died as a result of injuries he received.
