Softball: Lady Trojans blast Monroe Area

North Hall softball blasted Monroe Area 10-1 on Thursday.

Courtney Gearin pitched a complete game, holding Monroe to only three hits in the win.

Meanwhile, Hayden Savage had two singles and an RBI to lead the Lady Trojans at the plate. Alyx Kanaday also recorded a double and three RBIs, while Melissa Adams had a single and a double with four RBIs.

Harper Seymour, Whitney Swing, and Tiffany Hamilton all recorded hits for North Hall.

The Lady Trojans will take on Lanier in a single-elimination format in the Region 8-AAA tournament at 5 p.m. Monday at Stephens County in Toccoa.
