JEFFERSON -- Jefferson's seniors recorded their 100th career win Tuesday night in girls volleyball action after sweeping a quad-match with Tallulah Falls, Lakeview Academy, and Morgan County at home.
The Lady Dragons opened with a 25-10, 25-14 win over Tallulah Falls in a Area 8-A match, then beat Lakeview Academy 25-17, 25-19 and then whipped Morgan County 25-21, 25-10 in the final match.
The win for Jefferson (26-7, 5-0 in subregion) clinched a first place seed in next week's area tournament
Taylor Cramsey had huge night for Jefferson with nine aces, 20 kills, two assists, and three blocks. Cassie Metcalf added eight aces, five kills, and two assists, and Amanda Daniel had seven aces, 12 kills, and 30 assists for the Lady Dragons.
Eden Starnes had three aces and six kills, Sarah Wood had nine kills and three assists, and Savanna Holland added eight aces and six assists for Jefferson.
