GHS athletic club honors Snelling, Stowe

The Gainesville Athletic Club recently recognized two great Red Elephants at its annual “Stomp and Chomp” dinner and auction.

The “Voice of the Red Elephants” Walt Snelling was honored with the “BIG RED Award of Honor”, in recognition of his many years of dedication to the success of student athletes at Gainesville High School.

The President’s Award was given to Jeff Stowe, in recognition of his outstanding service as President of the Gainesville Athletic Club.
