Gainesville promotes Orr to take over volleyball program

GAINESVILLE -- Gainesville High School announced Tuesday that it has promoted volleyball assistant Randi Orr to the head coaching spot for the Lady Red Elephants.

Orr, who played volleyball at Brenau University, is a teacher at Centennial Elementary.

"She's got a lot of energy, and that's what we're looking for," Gainesville athletic director Wayne Vickery said.
