Survey: Deal would receive most votes against Barnes

UNDATED - If the latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey is any indication, former 9th District Congressman Nathan Deal will receive more votes in a race against Democratic candidate Roy Barnes than his opponent.

The survey finds that Deal picks up 49 percent of the vote against Barnes while former Secretary of State Karen Handel earns 45 percent.

Deal and Handel are headed for an August 10th runoff.
