Gainesville-Animal Medical Care located in Gainesville has gained accreditiation as an AAHA hospital once again.
The Certification from the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) is a voluntary program. The certification ensures that practices are up-to-date on changes in veterinary medicine and aids in improving practice operations and check skills.
Animal Medical Center has participated in the certification process for the last two years according to Office Manager Debbie Hardy.
Hardy was very proud of the hospital’s achievement. Hardy said, “It's a voluntary certification in which our hospital is inspected and graded to determine if we meet the AAHA standards of excellence. It's a big accomplishment for us.”
Hardy went on to add that the certification is a very demanding one and that it takes a very dedicated team to accomplish it each year.
John Sundstrom, D.V.M. Denise Funk, D.V.M. and Chris Potter D.V.M., along with hospital staff were recertified this month.
