GAINESVILLE -- East Hall baseball uncorked some magic to pick up its second region win of the season on Wednesday.
The Vikings scored six runs in the top of the seventh to take a 9-7 come-from-behind win over North Hall in Gainesville.
East Hall (3-13, 2-8 Region 7-AAA) led off the final inning with a single from Austin Tompkins, and road the momentum from there, as Greg Edwards and Jonathon Woodring then loaded the bases on a walk and getting hit by a pitch.
Desmond Gardner drove in two runs to start the barrage and was followed by a rip up the middle by C.J. White for another RBI. Joseph Matt sealed the comeback with another RBI.
Matt then shut down the Trojans (8-8, 5-5) in the bottom of the seventh.
The Vikings performed at the plate throughout, as eight of nine starters finished with hits. Greg Edwards enjoyed an especially strong night, reaching base four times.
North Hall responded to a 1-0 deficit after the top of the first, as Jeffrey Abernathy, Chris Stevens and Jackson Coker each picked up hits to yield a 2-1 Trojans lead.
Stevens also added a double in the fifth inning, while Mason Savage added an RBI single, but it wasn't enough to put the Vikings away for good.
East Hall travels to take on Johnson on Friday night in Oakwood.
